One platform. Built for the procedure room.
Synexar is not a single product — it's a procedural documentation substrate. The same five engines that power Synexar GI today power Synexar AIMS in active design partnership, and the airway module on our roadmap. Specialty depth without specialty rebuilding.
The five engines of the Synexar platform
Reflex
Captures the procedure as it happens — no after-the-fact reconstruction. Real-time dictation processing, DICOM intake, and vital-sign recording run in parallel during the procedure.
Logic
Turns dictation into structured, billable clinical documentation through Synexar's proprietary AI pipeline. No black-box generation — every output is traceable to source dictation and to the rule that produced it.
Compose
Produces the documents the procedure needs — clinical, billing, pathology, and discharge — in one pass. Four PDF types, anatomy-map embedding, and multi-copy batch generation, all assembled from a single structured source of truth.
Bridge
Connects to the systems the facility already runs, without rip-and-replace. SMART-on-FHIR integration validated in Cerner and Epic sandbox environments, PACS/DICOM image intake, Mirth Connect pathology, and native HL7/FHIR.
Assist
Aligns documentation with revenue capture at the source — not after the claim is denied. Billing-code candidates and documentation-to-code alignment are derived by Synexar's proprietary rule engine — the same engine that produced the note.
How our AI works
Synexar uses AI to help clinicians draft reports faster — converting dictation, voice notes, and structured entries into a draft you review, edit, and sign. Our AI providers operate under executed Business Associate Agreements that prohibit training on Protected Health Information.
What Synexar does
- Generate report drafts from clinician input
- Extract structured findings (polyps, biopsies, etc.)
- Suggest billing-code candidates for clinician review
- Transcribe voice dictation
What Synexar does NOT do
- Diagnose disease
- Recommend treatment
- Make clinical decisions
- Submit billing claims autonomously
- Replace clinician judgment
Under the hood, Synexar uses a proprietary process: AI prepares a draft for clinician review, and a separate, deterministic proprietary rule engine — not the AI — derives candidate billing codes. The AI never selects a billing code. The clinician of record reviews and signs every report.
One substrate. Multiple specialties.
Each specialty module sits on the same Synexar architecture. Specialty-specific clinical frameworks, taxonomies, and rule engines — without rebuilding the platform.
GI Endoscopy
Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP. Production-ready and entering pilot with a multi-hospital DFW health system. Includes automated coding via Synexar's proprietary rule engine, pathology integration via Mirth Connect, and SMART-on-FHIR integration validated in Cerner and Epic sandbox environments.
Anesthesia
Pre-anesthesia evaluation, intraoperative record, PACU documentation, and post-op note. Built in active partnership with a multi-state anesthesia management group serving ASC networks across TX, MO, and LA. Three-mode vitals capture (HL7, AI-powered photo capture, manual fallback). Pilot entering Q3 2026.
Airway / Bronchoscopy
Same Synexar architecture extended to airway procedures. Roadmap target: 2027.
